This handcrafted lotion bar is made with shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, beeswax and vitamin E, all natural ingredients that moisturize and nourishes the skin.
Cocoa butter contains high amounts of fatty acids which make it a perfect ingredient to help hydrate the skin. The same goes for shea butter, which is also an emollient. This means that the shea butter can help trap moisture in the skin, creating a protective barrier. These effects are provided from the coconut oil, which also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for irritated and dry skin.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that can reduce UV damage and protects skin from damage caused by free radicals.
Jojoba oil is not actually an oil, but a wax ester, a main component of the sebum (oil) that your skin naturally produces. This means it is biometic, making it the closest thing to your skin’s natural oils.
To use, apply a thin layer to your skin and gently spread the lotion over desired areas of your body. Perfect for travel as they come in a compact travel tin.
