All Natural Skin Relief Balm

The all natural skin relief lotion bars are made with shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, beeswax and vitamin e.

Cocoa butter contains high amounts of fatty acids which make it a perfect ingredient to help hydrate the skin. The same goes for shea butter, which is also an emollient. This means that the shea butter can help trap moisture in the skin, creating a protective barrier.

These effects are provided from the coconut oil, which also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for irritated and dry skin.

Vitamin E is also added as it is a powerful antioxidant that can reduce UV damage, help nourish the skin, and protect it from damage caused by free radicals.

The last ingredient is Jojoba oil.
Jojoba oil is not actually an oil, but a wax ester.
Wax ester is actually a main component of the sebum (oil) that your skin naturally produces. This means it is biometic, making it the closest thing to your skin’s natural oils. It is produced from the seed of the Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) plant, native to Arizona and Mexico.

These can be used as an all purpose balm and are perfect for travel as they come in a compact travel tin.
